Hello everyone, welcome to my stop of the blog tour for quantum, the new YA novel from Hanna Godard. When i asked Hanna to tell me weird things she did while writing this book i honestly did not expect to receive these hilarious answers. Some of them cracked me up so hard i had a massive coughing fit. I hope you don't suffer the same fate (if you do, just let me know in the comment section.) Enjoy!!!

Hanna: OK, here it goes. I’m a clumsy person so this should be interesting.

1. I write really late on the weekends, so to take a break and gather my thoughts I took my dog for a walk at 3 am, but my parents still don’t know so that will be our secret.

2. I wrote a chapter in a gross gym watching my little sister play basketball. They lost. I wasn’t paying attention. I got the blame. Obviously.

3. I walked backwards while recording my voice talking out a part of a chapter because I read online that that helped. It didn’t.

4. I sprained my ankle walking backwards and talking to my phone and was out of gym for a week.

5. I was at a party at my friend’s house just the four of us and they were helping me with some ideas but we took a break and prank called my dad. He fell for it and started giving us his job description and it ended up actually inspiring a section of my book.

6. I fell asleep with my laptop on top of me and my dad deleted three chapters. No one will ever know what happened J

7. I walked into a wall telling my friend about the plot of the book and a new chapter I’m writing. Wasn’t really while I was writing but I thought I broke my nose. I was fine.

8. I colour code my chapters.

9. Broke a three-hundred-dollar typewriter while trying to see if I could get new ideas on fancy equipment.

10. I eavesdrop on a lot of people’s conversations. I’m not even going to deny it.

11. Got into a very large argument with Microsoft word, otherwise known as an inanimate object, about the correct spelling of flavour, favourite, and colour. I’m Canadian … it has a u; I don’t care what Word says.

12. I got scared from a sound in the wall late at night when I was writing a fight scene and accidentally kicked my dog off my bed. She didn’t come around for a while after that.

13. Forgotten how many apple slice I had eaten until we ran out of apples. I eat apples when I write.

14. I told my friends I had plans and I couldn’t go out with them when in all reality I was sitting in my room writing.

15. I didn’t study for my math exam the day before the exam because I lost track of time. Oops. One minute it was nine am the next it was ten pm.

16. Worn my pajamas all day. Not that weird.

17. Listen to the same song for three hours nonstop because I was “in the zone.”

18. Mumbled to myself while I try to remember lines for my book on my way from the car to the house before I forget it.

19. Probably fell again. Seems accurate.

20. I finished the book.
